Following a comprehensive 18 month review of its business, Old Mutual − the international long-term savings, protection and investment group − wanted to engage its stakeholders in the new strategy for the bank.
Based on interviews with the Group CEO and all members of the senior leadership team, and working closely with the internal and external media teams, we developed an approach for employee communication that set out the journey the bank was on.
This set out its priorities and vision for the future and included an engagement strategy:
- to disseminate the story and messaging across a base of 54,000 employees in 34 countries, and
- help people understand what it meant for them personally and get them involved in shaping the future.
